When you rescue a well-used floor from a school gym, the markings inevitably come along too; the lines for basketball, seven-a-side, netball, badminton and for all I know, gladiatorial contests between the third and four forms. Some customers want these removed; others find them really interesting, inspiring, attractive and want them kept. What is more, you can then lay the reclaimed flooring to produce a highly artistic random pattern of lines and shapes.
This is what has happened at Kraft Architecture in Glasgow, where our Junckers flooring, reclaimed from a Glasgow school gym, is now in place and, as you can see, is looking great.
