Citizen M have brought their rapidly expanding uber-cool chain of budget boutique hotels to Glasgow, their first location out side their native Netherlands. Similar to the contemporary Q-Mile development that was designed by Sir Norman Foster Citizen M choose to use sustainable Bamboo flooring mixed with a fusion of black tiles to complement the stylish ambiance. Having installed over 11,000m2 of bamboo flooring at the Q-Mile apartments and close to 700m2 (once phase 2 is complete) at Citizen M the McKay Flooring operatives are reporting back very positively about the properties of Bamboo flooring.
