Case Study: Princes Square, Glasgow

Princes Square, Glasgow
Those familiar with Glasgow’s premium shopping destination, Princes Square, situated in the heart of the Buchanan street retail mecca will have noticed the recently completed upgrade and renovations to this stunning shopping complex, most of which was carried out under the cover of darkness so as to not disrupt business or interfere with the customers experience. Our own hand in all of this was the renovation of the existing hardwood flooring that is installed on the many levels. All works were meticulously planned and programmed to take place in the dead of night ensuring it was business as normal for shoppers and retailers alike. The beautiful oak clad grand stairs were lovingly sanded back and re-lacquered while new quantities of the exotic rich red Jatoba flooring was installed, were required, to seamlessly match up the with the original floors as the structural works created gaps that needed repairing and filling.
As is the case with jobs of this nature McKay Flooring Ltd are equipped with the necessary skilled workforce (we operate a specialist floor sanding department that use state of the art floor sanding equipment) and we are able to dedicate a team of operatives who can work the unsociable hours required where many smaller flooring companies cannot commit to such a demanding schedule due to their regular day time commitments.
If you have a floor renovation project that requires going the extra distance to ensure minimum business disruption then call us on 0845 602 7694 to organise a free on site consultation.
