An eagle eyed member of Newton Mearns Bowling Club recently spotted that an old advertising banner of ours that used to adorn the club house railings during the Bowling championships has been immortalised for ever by the good people at Google Maps. The question of sponsorship rights and monies owed have been raised and I can confirm that the head of the McKay Flooring negotiating team will be dispatched (with fiver in hand) this Friday night to settle the matter in his usual manner….. a pint of heavy please George and whatever you’re having yourself….
