We came across this lovely blog recently by a couple who are documenting the trials and tribulations of completing their home kitchen extension while adhering to a sustainable resources ethic. With this in mind they choose to use McKay Flooring reclaimed beech sports flooring because besides its inherent beauty it is also chemical free, does not require a toxic adhesive to install and as a floor covering wood is sympathetic to allergies and asthma more so than other surfaces.
