Textured Hardwood Flooring

Via our friends at wood flooring trends comes news of the wonderful hand printed and textured hardwood flooring of Anthony Hughes who bills himself as a ‘Surface Designer for Interior Applications’.

Hughes has produced a wonderfully artistic wood flooring range that he has titled ‘Industrious Senescence’. Inspired by industrial structures and deterring textures he employs a range of novel techniques to achieve his unique look and texture. The wood is sanded to reveal the natural grain then hand screen painted and embellished, bronze foiled, deep flocks and soft suede added for a natural look and feel to the flooring. Each piece is totally unique and lovingly hand finished creating delicate touches to an otherwise rough looking floor surface.
