Providing Colour Parquet to KFC

by Seamus on May 16, 2012

On a side street just off Edinburgh’s busy Princes Street you’ll find a KFC restaurant with a difference. A recent interior refit by Burns Design has transformed the usually drab plastic and fluorescent environments of a fast food outlet, lifting the ambiance and mood of the diner by the simple addition of McKay Flooring Coloured Parquet to a feature wall.  The team at Burns Design first spotted the unique coloured parquet blocks on the walls of our Glasgow showroom and were duly impressed enough to commission an order with a bespoke colour swatch for the KFC project. Alongside our recent installation of coloured parquet flooring at Selfridges this unique interior parquet flooring feature is starting to catch on.

Designers and architects can contact us and order some coloured parquet graph paper to aid designing and colouring their bespoke parquet patterns.
