It is always good to have a little history under your feet and McKay Flooring currently has some beautiful maple boards saved from an old church in the Kinning Park area of Glasgow.
A family member attended Our Lady and St Margaret’s Primary next door, a school remarkable for having its playground on the roof. Fortunately the children were safely corralled by a wall to prevent them following their footballs over the edge.
Back to the maple flooring. As you can see from this photograph, it is beautiful when prepared and ready to lay. If you have ever felt the desire to buy wooden flooring then this would be a great choice.
