We’re flush from our recent visit to the newly renovated Gala Casino in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City where renovation contractor DH Allan took the risk free option of appointing McKay Flooring Ltd to look after the new oak floor installation works.
This is our third trip to the Gala having installed the original exotic Wenge parquet flooring to the foyer when the casino was built and then returning to sand and seal the parquet floors a few years later.
This time ’round an exquisite 140mm nested oak flooring material from Ted Todd was chosen and over 300m2 was installed to the first floor and entrance hall.
This european oak is available in a warm character grade in a range of face widths and random lengths. A micro bevel has been applied to all our edges and finished in a satin lacquer.
