Via The Wood Database comes this great periodic table of wood. Originally created by Eric Meier to aid him choose timbers for personal projects he eventually made his table available online to share. The Wood Database has images of the wood grain, for any given type of wood, in various stages of preparation (sanded, sealed, endgrain). It’s a fantastic resource for all wood workers.
