Fore! Wood: Parquet Flooring From Another Open Championship

As the 2010 Open Championship tees off under a pearly sky, we have been talking about one of our favourite recent commissions, a very special wooden flooring which we created for the Turnberry Resort, one of Scotland’s great golf venues.

Our job was to supply and fit 500 square metres of Wenge parquet flooring in both a herringbone and ladder pattern throughout the foyer, main dining room and the Turnberry bars, all in time for last year’s open championship.

McKay Flooring worked round the clock to get the job done and Turnberry was delighted with the result. This is the first time we have posted photographs of the finished floors. We hope you like them.
